Wow! Seeing our little dude look so much bigger (not in size, but maturity) was the best Sinterklaas gift we (Dad, Oma Heleen, and Opa Frits) could have imagined. Of course, I am little sad that I am missing it. But it is MUCH more important that it is simply happenning!

The sound in the video makes it clear that Loki knows how to impress the ladies! I'd like to imagine he gets this from me, but that's not the case.

And check out Mom's BIG smile in that top photo!

Hoi lieverd,
Wat een super foto's en filmpjes. Je kijkt erg gelukkig en Loki ziet eruit als een echt jongetje zo.
Fijn voor je om even weer zo'n opsteker te krijgen nu Jesse weg is.

We are having the time of our lives while Loki is having his. It's so great seeing him in the video and pictures. Everyday he is more beautiful! And showing himself like really the most beautiful and happy baby in the world! We adore him. Love to mom too. Oma Heleen, opa frits also on behalf of dad.

About Loki Sky

Loki Sky is a special little man. He was a very early micropreemie, weighing only 610 grams (1 lb, 5 oz) after 24 weeks, 3 days gestation, born to an American Father and a Dutch Mother in Berkeley, California on October 18, 2008.

On January 11, 2009, while still in the hospital NICU, his one kidney stopped working. It was repaired after three surgeries. After spending time in three hospitals in three cities, Loki came home on February 17. He struggled with eating, and then stopped in July, leading to 8 days in the hospital, a failure-to-thrive diagnosis, and a NG feeding tube. On October 10, a minor surgery installed a G feeding tube. Another procedure replaced it with a new one, and then again with a Mic-Key button in Jan. 2010.

In August 2010, he and his parents moved to the Netherlands.
